A series of crimes have prompted Waynesboro police to launch constant patrols in a normally quiet neighborhood.
At least a dozen shots rang out Thursday night, during an apparent drive-by shooting in the 100 block of Henry Avenue. The apparent target was a family whose house was struck by eight bullets, none of which made it inside.
Just two nights earlier, racial graffiti was found on a house right next door. Waynesboro police will run 24-hour patrols in the area through the weekend.
