Albemarle County supervisors will wait
until January to decide the fate of future events at Castle Hill Cidery.
Castle Hill Cider management is asking
for a special use permit to have 16 events per year. Fifteen events for 201 to 500 people and one
event for 501 to 3,000 attendees, which in this case would be a "cider
festival."
The Albemarle County Planning Commission
compromised on the issue last month allowing the cider festival.
Neighbors are concerned about traffic
and noise issues.
