Albemarle Supervisors Wait to Decide on Castle Hill Events Issue

Albemarle County supervisors will wait until January to decide the fate of future events at Castle Hill Cidery.

Castle Hill Cider management is asking for a special use permit to have 16 events per year.  Fifteen events for 201 to 500 people and one event for 501 to 3,000 attendees, which in this case would be a "cider festival."

The Albemarle County Planning Commission compromised on the issue last month allowing the cider festival.

Neighbors are concerned about traffic and noise issues.
