The defending national champion UVA rowing team won its last regatta of the fall season Sunday, as the Cavaliers won three races at the Rivanna Romp.

Columbia, Louisville, Penn, and Old Dominion were also competing in Earlysville

Virginia's top boat in the Varsity 8 finished in 13:19, nine seconds ahead of Columbia (13:28), while the 'Hoos second V8 claimed third (13:47).

UVA's crews finished first in the novice eights (14:40), and  first in the fours (14:45).

Virginia senior Kristine O'Brien says, "Our team is in a really good spot. We're really motivated, and fired up. We're humble and hungry, after a really good fall season. The Varsity 8 won the Head of the Charles, and the Princeton Chase, just like last year. We're fired up to bring home another national title."
