The #9 James Madison football team lost 35-20 at #21 Villanova Saturday.
JMU (7-3, 5-2 CAA) trailed 17-0 at halftime, and managed just 231 yards of total offense in defeat.
The Wildcats recorded two safeties in the game.
Quarterback Justin Thorpe led JMU in rushing with 17 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown, while Dae'Quan Scott ran for 45 yards on 12 carries.
Former Orange County star Quintin Hunter paced the Dukes with 48-yards receiving, and recorded his first career touchdown.
James Madison will host #3 Old Dominion in their final game of the regular season Saturday at 7pm.
