UVA Men's Soccer Eliminated On PK's

The Virginia men's soccer team lost 4-3 in penalty kicks against #3 North Carolina in the ACC Tournament Semifinals Friday in Germantown, MD.

The game was scoreless throughout regulation and two overtimes.

Will Bates, Todd Wharton, and Zach Carroll converted their kicks for Virginia.

Martin Murphy, Raby George, Alex Walters, and Jordan Gafa found the net for the Tar Heels in the final session.

UVA (9-6-4) now awaits its NCAA Tournament fate, as the field of 48 will be announced Monday.
