Albemarle Volleyball Advances to State Tournament

The Albemarle HS volleyball team beat Broad Run Thursday in the NW Regional semifinals 3-2. The Patriots advance to the regional finals and clinch a birth in the state tournament.

Albemarle also improves to 29-0 on the season. Albemarle will host Patrick Henry at 5pm Saturday in the region finals.

In other HS volleyball playoff action, Madison's season came to an end with a 3-1 loss to Luray. Stuarts Draft beat Clarke 3-0 to clinch a spot in the state tournament and advance to the regional finals.
