Donna M. Tinsley, accused of stealing money from a Staunton parent teacher group, will go before a grand jury in January. She faces a felony charge of embezzlement.
Last school year Tinsley was president of the Parent and Teacher (PAT) organization at Ware Elementary School. Tinsley, 40, was arrested in August after the school's principal became suspicious when companies started calling to say their bills were unpaid.
Tinsley is currently out on bond.
Wednesday afternoon her attorney said there's enough evidence for the case to move forward.
Investigators say she used a PAT debit card for more than $15,000 of personal bills and expenses.
