With just hours left before the polls open, a Fluvanna County man running for congress is getting some last minute campaigning in.
Ben Hudson is the independent write in candidate for the 5th District of Virginia. He did not have enough signatures for his name to be included on the ballot, but Hudson says that is not stopping him.
"As a result of not having my name on the ballot I've had to be more aggressive with not only meeting and greeting but indicating to voters along the way that they would have to actually write my name into the ballot," he said.
Hudson is running against Republican incumbent Robert Hurt and Democratic contender John Douglass.
