Man Wanted on Staunton Rape Charge Behind Bars

A man wanted on a Staunton rape charge is now behind bars.

Investigators say 26-year-old Brandon Neal Jones forced his way into a home on West Beverley Street two weeks ago, and then attacked a woman inside. He faces numerous felony charges including rape, burglary and abduction.

Staunton police say Jones turned himself in on Sunday. He's being held in the Middle River Regional Jail.
