The suspect in a Waynesboro strong-armed robbery is staying in jail.
A district court judge had denied bond to 22-year-old Anthony Charles Batton, and Monday afternoon a circuit judge made the same ruling.
Waynesboro police say Batton robbed the Stop-In store on East Broad Street in July, and hit the cashier on the head with a blunt object. He faces a pair of felony charges, and his case goes to a grand jury next month.
