Two UVA ROTC Cadets Receive Top Honors

Posted: Updated:

Two University of Virginia ROTC cadets are among the best of the best. Cadets Aimee Moores and Joseph Riley are both near the top of the Army's Cadet Command National Order of Merit list.

Out of thousands of cadets across the country, Moores ranked fourth while Riley came in 10th.

"I wanted to make my cadre proud because they did the best they could and they definitely prepared me extremely well for camp, and I wanted to sort of show them off and I'm glad I was able to do that," said Moores.

Ranking so high on this list is a major accomplishment.  Every September, the Order of Merit list ranks all Army ROTC seniors across the nation.
