Students at Albemarle High School are banding together to stop bullies and save victims. Thursday, more than 200 students stamped their handprints on a school hallway to show their solidarity against bullying.
The event was planned by a student-run bullying prevention group at Albemarle High School called "Stop One Save One" - meaning stop a bully, save a victim.
"Bullying is a really big problem and even more than that, just like harassment and people feeling like they can't come to school without being made fun of, things like that so we're just trying to encourage everyone to make everyone feel at home at Albemarle," said Danielle Horridge with "Stop One Save One".
They will have a similar event next week because so many students want to be involved. Albemarle High School students say they hope their example will leave a lasting legacy against bullying.
