Charlottesville Leaders Gather at 17th Annual CACF Luncheon

Posted: Updated:

Hundreds of Charlottesville community leaders gathered at the Boar's Head Pavilion Wednesday afternoon for the 17th annual Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (CACF) luncheon.

The gathering was a chance for donors and friends to talk about their work throughout the year.  CACF also shared some special news about its contributions since 1967.

"We are so pleased to announce that since our beginning in 1967, we've made $50 million in grants to our community," said Brennan Gould, the CACF director of grants and strategic initiatives.

Attendees also received tips for fundraising in a tough economy and how to be successful in their continued efforts.
