CHS & WAHS Move On To Jefferson District Field Hockey Finals

The Charlottesville High School field hockey team shut out Monticello 3-0 in the Jefferson District Semifinals Tuesday.

Kendall Ballard, Annette Zenker, and Nell Ackerman all scored for CHS.

Western Albemarle High School topped Louisa 5-0.

Five different players scored goals for the Warriors.

WAHS will take on CHS Thursday in the Jefferson District Finals.

The Albemarle volleyball team finished the regular season undefeated (24-0), as they win 3-2 at Colonial Forge.

The Commonwealth District tournament begins Thursday.

Western Albemarle won 25-19, 25-19, and 25-18 at Fluvanna.
