Truck Accident on Gordonsville Road

The driver of a pickup truck was airlifted to the University of Virginia Medical Center after a crash on Gordonsville Road late Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 4:20 on Gordonsville Road near Rockview Lane. Police say the driver of the truck lost control, went through a fence, and landed near a tree.

The driver has serious injuries. The road was closed through most of the evening commute. There is no word about whether charges will be filed.
