Central Virginia Teams Move Up In AP Virginia Prep Football Poll

The Western Albemarle football team has moved up one spot to 6th in Group AA in the latest AP Virginia Prep Football Poll.

The Warriors improved to 8-0 with a 42-0 win at Waynesboro last week.

Wilson Memorial has jumped from 5th to 4th in the Group A poll, while Riverheads remains 7th.

The Hornets are 7-1 after topping Buffalo Gap 48-8 in their last game.

The Gladiators beat Luray 56-7 behind 170 yards rushing from Logan Moore, and are also 7-1 on the season.
