Staunton Man Facing Gang, Assault Charges Indicted

A Staunton man facing felony gang and assault charges in two different courts is on his way to trial.

Twenty-year-old Trey Aaron Scott was indicted in Augusta and Rockingham counties on a total of seven felony counts. Many of them resulted from a fight last winter when Scott allegedly wounded another man, and fired shots into the air. Deputies say they also found him in possession of marijuana and cocaine.

Monday a judge set a December trial for Scott's charges in Augusta County.
