Charlottesville Tomorrow wants you to be a part of history. Sunday, the newsgathering nonprofit kicked off a week of photo collection for a time capsule that will show "A Week in the Life of Charlottesville and Albemarle."
They're asking you to take a picture of something you're doing this week in the community.
Dan Hennicke with Charlottesville Tomorrow, said, "Say it's a family that's gone to the same grade school, take a picture of that grade school with the family out in front. Say it's a business that's been in town for years - maybe 50 years from now it'll still be in town - people would love to see what businesses were around."
The photos will be buried at the end of the year in a time capsule not to be opened until Charlottesville's 300th anniversary.
