UVA Basketball Hosts Meet The Team Day

Fresh off their intrasquad scrimmage Friday at John Paul Jones Arena, the Virginia men's basketball team held its "Meet The Team Day" Sunday at John Paul Jones Arena.

A large number of Cavaliers fans were out at the open house event, which allowed the fans a chance to meet the players, and get a few autographs.

There was also the opportunity to tour some of the behind the scenes aspects of UVA basketball.

The Wahoos have been picked to finish 7th in the ACC in coach Tony Bennett's 4th season in Charlottesville.

They'll play their first game of the season November 9 at George Mason.

The women's basketball team will hold its "Meet The Team Day" November 3, at 2 o'clock.
