Hokies Reflect on Loss and Look Forward to Bye Week

Virginia Tech will have two weeks to stew over the 38-17 loss at #13 Clemson Saturday, as the Hokies have an open date next weekend.
Tech has dropped three of its last four games, and is now 4-4 overall, and 2-2 in the ACC.
They've lost three straight games against the Tigers, and turned the ball over three times in the latest defeat.
Junior quarterback Logan Thomas threw for 207 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions. Thomas also ran for 99 of his teams 199 yards rushing, but says the Hokie offense was never able to get in a groove.
"We kind of hurt ourselves getting behind the chains, not even with the chains," says Thomas. "So we were digging ourselves out of a hole the whole third quarter."
Senior Linebacker, Bruce Taylor adds, "If you don't have faith and trust in your team then you have nothing. And it always going to be that way with me. You know, these guys are going to fight for me. That's what I do for them. I go out there and play and fight for my team."
Virginia Tech returns to action Thursday, November 1 at Miami.
