Chocolate lovers filled Charlottesville's Lee Park Saturday afternoon. Hundreds of people came out for the sixth annual Chocolate Festival put together by First United Methodist Church.
Dozens of chocolate makers sold their tasty treats to raise money for the church's mission trips and to support its soup kitchen.
Melody Nichols, a member of First United Methodist Church, said, "It's also just about celebrating chocolate because everybody of every faith I think likes chocolate. So it's just an opportunity to come out on a beautiful fall day and mix with the community and raise some funds."
The festival also featured live music and a used book sale, and some treats for those not indulging in chocolate.
