Bridge Repairs Close Augusta County Road

Part of an Augusta County road is closed indefinitely. The Virginia Department of Transportation says a one-lane bridge on Moffett Branch Road near Churchville needs to be fixed.

A bridge engineer is working on the plans to repair it, so it can sustain traffic up to three tons.

In the meantime, the 90 motorists who travel the bridge daily will detour on Hupman Road.
