Fluvanna Supervisors Vote to Give Schools $66,000

Posted: Updated:

School administrators in Fluvanna County are getting more money from supervisors, but not as much as they were hoping for.

Wednesday night, supervisors voted to give the division $66,000.  Administrators had also asked for $308,000, but that request was turned down.

The extra money is needed because cost estimates for heating the new high school are higher than anticipated, and it's costing more to fuel buses and pay other utilities.
