Donations to a Charlottesville nonprofit earn you an invite to its biggest fundraiser next year.
The Paramount Theater hosted the Legal Aid Justice Center's annual fall fundraiser Wednesday evening. It focused on financial exploitation of seniors and how to protect them.
The center's biggest fundraiser of the year brings in $120,000 to $150,000.
"Almost all of the funds we raise goes directly into services for clients in our community - that's representation of clients and attorneys and community organizing and whatever it takes to make sure our low-income seniors and others are protected," said Legal Aid Justice Center Donor Relations Manager Susan Kruse.
