Greene County Fire Officials Investigate Mission Home Rd Fire

Fire on Mission Home Road in Greene County.

Investigators in Greene County are trying to figure out what started a fire Tuesday afternoon at a home in the 8100 block of Mission Home Road.

It started around 2:45 Tuesday afternoon. Firefighters from both Greene and Albemarle counties responded.

There's no word on what started the fire but crews were on the scene well into the evening working to keep the fire from sparking up again.

Fire officials say no one was inside the house at the time.
