Virginia Tech snapped its two game losing streak with a 41-20 win against Duke Saturday at Lane Stadium.
The Hokies fell behind 20-0 in the first quarter but rallied for the win by scoring 41 unanswered points.
Logan Thomas brought in over 300 yards of total offense and two touchdowns.
Head Coach Frank Beamer said the junior quarterback kept his team focused. Beamer added, "We had a team meeting on Thursday, and Logan got up and spoke a little bit, and one of the things he said is, 'If things don't go right, right away, just hang in there, keep playing, and our football team showed that a couple of times.'"
The Hokies will play at Clemson next Saturday at 12 p.m.
