Augusta County Sheriff's Office Investigates Car Break-Ins

Posted: Updated:

Investigators in Augusta County are hoping a photo from a store surveillance camera will help catch a suspect in a string of car break-ins.

The sheriff's office says the man used a credit card taken from a car parked at a Walmart store. Investigators say the larcenies took place over the past four weeks in Stuarts Draft and Fishersville.

Most of the vehicles targeted had valuables within plain sight. If you know who this is, call Crimestoppers at 1-800-322-2017.
