Waynesboro takes advantage of the autumn colors with a host of big events this weekend.
The Fall Foliage Festival Art Show takes place Saturday and Sunday. More than 200 artists will offer their creations for display and sale along Main Street and Wayne Avenue.
And just a few blocks away is the Saturday morning start of the festival's 5K and 10K races. They mark the finale of the Run The Valley road race series.
"It's been a great response," said Waynesboro Parks Director Dwayne Jones. "We've had folks energized about it... it's tied all of our races together. Folks have really embraced the idea and I think they're excited about the crowning this weekend."
The annual River City Wine & Jazz Festival also takes place Saturday and Sunday. All events are centered on Waynesboro's downtown.
