Traffic Backed Up After Car Flips Over on Seminole Trail

Traffic is back to normal after a Friday morning crash backed things up on Seminole Trail in Albemarle County.

The accident happened around 9:15 a.m. near the intersection of Ashwood Boulevard. Police on the scene say the driver had a medical condition which caused her to lose control of her car and flip it over.

Our crews on the scene tell us the driver was awake and alert as rescue crews pulled her out. No one else was hurt.

Traffic was backed up for about an hour.
