An Albemarle County Italian restaurant is hosting the Monticello High School Band on Wednesday.
The band program will receive 10 percent of Pizza Bella's sales during the dinner hour. The proceeds will go toward trips, competitions and band supplies. This will benefit all of Monticello's bands, including the jazz band and the Mustang Marching Band.
Ben Reed, the band director, said, "I think it's just really great um for them to have an opportunity to be supported by other members of the community uh and hopefully we can get the band out into the community a little bit more."
You can support the mustang bands from 5:00 to 9:00 at Pizza Bella on Mill Creek Drive, just down the street from the school.
