JMU Scores Late To Secure Win

Posted: Updated:

Quarterback Justin Thorpe led JMU on a 79-yard touchdown drive with under four minutes to play to help the Dukes come from behind and beat Towson 13-10 Saturday.

After missing the last two games due to injury, former R.E. Lee star Dae'Quan Scott rushed for a team-high 85-yards on 22 carries in his return to action for the Dukes.

Head coach Mickey Matthews earned his 100th career win in the game.

James Madison is now 4-1 overall, 2-1 in the CAA, and will host William & Mary next Saturday at 3:30 pm.
