Two men are serving time after admitting they hit a pedestrian in Waynesboro and left the scene.
Victor Espinoza, 22, and Juan Gonzalez-Vasquez, 28, pleaded guilty to felony hit-and-run Wednesday in Waynesboro Circuit Court.
Espinoza admitted to driving the pickup truck that struck and killed 56-year-old Betty Wheeler last April while she was crossing Stuarts Draft Highway.
Espinoza was sentenced to one year in jail. Gonzalez-Vasquez, the passenger in the truck, was sentenced to six months.
