The Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA is making more room for you to come catch central Virginia stars in a dance-off fundraiser.
Tickets are still available to Saturday's Critter Ball. The theme for the fourth annual event is "Boot Scootin' Boogie". The location of this year's ball at the University of Virginia's Slaughter Gym allows more people to attend the SPCA's biggest fundraiser of the year.
Lisa Lane with the CASPCA said, "It's a fun fundraiser. It's not just your typical dinner … Everything is underwritten by sponsors, so every dollar raised, every dancer vote, every auction item sold goes directly to help care for the animals at the SPCA."
Money raised by the Critter Ball helps the non-profit provide emergency medical care and spay and neuter thousands of animals each year.
