Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan arrived in Albemarle County around 8:15 Tuesday night, and quickly left Charlottesville Albemarle Regional Airport to a house at Wintergreen Resort for debate prep.
He walked down the steps of the Romney for America plane, gave a wave to the media, and was quickly taken into one of the motorcade vehicles.
NBC29 has confirmed Ryan is staying in Nelson County at the Wintergreen Resort where he will prepare for the vice presidential debate on the October 11.
There wasn't much of a crowd in terms of supporters at the airport, most of the people there were members of the media or security.
Earlier Tuesday in Iowa, Ryan told supporters he agreed with vice president Biden that the middle class was buried. He said he and mitt Romney are going to help stop the digging.
