The new video game "Resident Evil 6" is at the center of an armed robbery investigation in Albemarle County.
Just after midnight, police say two men approached a customer attending a pre-release party at Game Stop in the 1600 block of Seminole Trail. One claimed to have a gun and demanded the copy of the game.
The victim handed it over and the thieves were last seen running down Seminole Trail.

The Albemarle County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery outside the Game Stop on Seminole Trail. The incident happened at 12:22am on October 2, 2012 in the 1600 block of Seminole Trail.
Game Stop was hosting a pre-release party for the video game "Resident Evil 6". A customer left the store and was getting in his car when he was approached by two black men.
One of the suspects threatened that he had a gun and demanded the customer's video game. The victim complied with the demand. The suspects are described as two black men wearing dark colored hoodies, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing between 160-180 pounds.
The suspects were last seen fleeing south on Seminole Trail on foot. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Bill Underwood with the Albemarle County Police Department at 434-296-5807or call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
