Justin Thorpe Earns 6th Year Of Eligibility

James Madison quarterback Justin Thorpe has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA.

He'll be considered a red-shirt junior for the remainder of this season, and will be allowed to play next year.

Thorpe has started all four games for the Dukes this season leading JMU to a 3-1 record.

He is 14-6 as a starter.

Thorpe missed most of the 2008 and 2010 seasons with injuries.

The Dukes host Towson Saturday at 1pm.
