Waynesboro Man Pleads Guilty to Possessing Child Porn

A Waynesboro man, reportedly caught with 80,000 images of child porn, has entered guilty pleas.

Thomas Neal Tait, 52, was indicted two weeks ago on 20 counts of possessing child pornography. He was in court Wednesday afternoon to set a trial date, but instead, pleaded guilty to all charges.

A yearlong investigation led to Tait's arrest, and investigators say some images on his computer were of children younger than age 2. Tait will be sentenced at a later date.
