Charlottesville Delivery Driver Robbed at Gunpoint

Charlottesville police are searching for two armed robbers who reportedly held up a delivery driver from the Peking Chinese restaurant.

The robbery happened just before 9:30 Sunday night in the 900 block of 6th Street southeast. The driver told investigators that two men jumped out of the bushes in front of a convenience store, pulled a gun, and took off with the food, cash, and his cell phone.

The driver was not injured. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-400.
