Charlottesville Police Investigate UVA Student Sexual Assault
Charlottesville police are investigating a sexual assault of a University of Virginia student. This happened around 1:45 Sunday morning in an apartment in the 1200 block of Wertland Street.
Police say the 17-year-old victim reported a male forced into the bathroom at an apartment party and sexually assaulted her.

The Charlottesville Police Department is currently investigating a sexual assault that occurred at 1:45 am today in a residence in the 1200 block of Wertland Street. The 17-year-old victim, a UVA student, reported she was sexually assaulted after being forced into the bathroom of the apartment where she was attending a party. The suspect, described as an African American male, who has not been identified.
