The University of Virginia Men's Tennis team played its first tournament of the fall season this weekend, as the Cavaliers hosted the Ranked+1 Invitational at the Snyder Tennis Center.

UVA sent a player to the finals in three of the tournaments four Singles Flights Sunday.

Junior Alex Domijan won the Blue Flight in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2.

Senior Jarmere Jenkins also won in straight sets, taking the Orange Flight 6-2, 6-2.

Unseeded UVA freshman Ryan Shane won the White flight 7-5, 6-4.

Shane is the younger brother of UVA junior Justin Shane.

The 9th ranked UVA Women's Soccer Team won 1-0 at Clemson in its first conference road game of the season Sunday.

Virginia is unbeaten in its last ten matches (9-0-1).

Erica Hollenberg scored her first goal of the season off a pass from Makenzy Doniak.

UVA will play at 17th ranked Maryland on Thursday.

James Madison beat William and Mary 2-0.

Emory Camper and Nicole Baxter scored the goals for the Dukes.

JMU will host Northeastern Thursday.

The Virginia field hockey team earned the 500th win in program history, as the Cavaliers won 2-0 at Boston University.

Rachel Sumfest and Paige Selenski scored the goals for UVA.

They'll return home to take on #4 Maryland Friday.

James Madison won 1-0 at Towson.

Taylor West scored the only goal of the game on a penalty stroke for the Dukes.

JMU will host 8th ranked Northeastern on Friday.
