If you're looking to take a trip around the world without going too far, there's a new event in the valley just for you.
Good Times, Tastes and Traditions is kicking off its first year this weekend at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton. The museum has five farms, West Africa, Germany, England, Ireland, and early America .
Organizers say this international food, wine and music festival will bring those countries to life.
Melissa Martin with the Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce said, "When you go to Germany you're going to have German bratwursts and German potato salad. When you go to England you're going to have fish and chips. When you're out here in America you're going to have barbeque and kettle corn and lemonade."
Planners say the countries are also represented in beer, music, wine, and even West African tribal dancers. And there's a kids tent with sand art and magic.
