The Buckingham Sheriffs Office wishes to release the following information:
A series of vandalisms and larcenies that had taken place on the nights of June 17th, August 19th and 20th and August 21st, 2012 have resulted in the arrests of one adult male and two juvenile males. The thefts included gasoline and batteries from lawnmowers and farm equipment. Vandalism included destruction of farm equipment, lawnmowers and parts thereof, broken windshields, church signs, church property and several mailboxes.
The adult arrested, Austin E. Morrow, has been charged with 12 felony and misdemeanor charges for larceny and destruction of property. Each of the two juveniles, both 16 years of age, have been charged with 15 felony and misdemeanor charges apiece for larceny and destruction of property.
Once again Sheriff Kidd would like to thank citizens for coming forth with information concerning these cases. It is with the help of information from concerned citizens and follow up police work that these matters were brought to a conclusion.
