Due to the impending weather forecast and the possibility of severe storms, Back-to-School Nights at Red Hill, Scottsville and Yancey elementary schools have been postponed. Previously scheduled to occur this evening, those Back-to-School Nights have been rescheduled as follows:
- Red Hill: Thursday, September 27
- Scottsville: Thursday, September 20
- Yancey: Thursday, September 20
Additionally, tonight's Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) meeting at Broadus Wood Elementary has been canceled. Broadus Wood will deliver its State of the School Address at its next regularly scheduled PTO meeting on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
