The school of social media was in session Wednesday.
Piedmont Virginia Community College and the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce held their monthly Chamber Business Academy at PVCC's Schultz Center. The topic was how to become more tech-savvy in the social media world.
Small business owners brought their laptops, iPads and smartphones and got a lesson on online media.
Cameron Seay of Seay Educational Consulting said, "I specifically want to learn as much as I can about Facebook and Twitter and LinkedIn and things of that nature, so that I can learn to connect with people, the people who would potentially be customers and clients."
The next Chamber Business Academy will be on October 4. The topic will be dealing with difficult customers and callers.
