A Waynesboro man accused of robbing a convenience store and attacking the clerk is on his way to a grand jury.
Late Monday afternoon, a judge certified a pair of felony charges against 22-year-old Anthony Charles Batton. Waynesboro police say Batton robbed the Stop-In Store on East Broad Street in July, and hit the cashier on the head with a blunt object.
Batton is being held without bond.
