Albemarle High School to Hold 9/11 Remembrance Event

Albemarle High School is planning a special event to remember the lives lost during the attacks on September 11, 2001.

Red, white, and blue ribbons will be handed out before school on Tuesday. At 12:45 p.m., Patriot Singers will perform the national anthem and a memorial song. There will also be a moment of silence, and finally, the band will play taps.

The event will also be a way for students and teachers to share some of their reflections about the day, and how it has impacted their lives.
