Big steam and gas tractors from the turn of the century are getting set to roll through the heart of Orange County.
People across central Virginia will be able to take a trip back in time and learn about products that helped build the country at the "Somerset Steam and Gas Pasture Party" this weekend.
Event organizer Gill Roberts says the show packs in 17 steam tractors and 250 gas tractors dating back to the early 1900s. "We hope they pick up where we came from - what built this country, how hard people back then worked - what little resources we had, we adapted to and utilized every resource we had," he said.
You can see the tractors for yourself at Fairfield View Dairy Farm in Somerset, Virginia. The event kicks off Friday and lasts until Sunday.
