A jury has found a Crimora man guilty of setting fire to Hildebrand Mennonite Church last October.
The jury found 36-year-old Paul Lenwill Cupp guilty of arson, and recommended he serve eight years behind bars.
Cupp was arrested just three days after a small fire damaged the Hildebrand Mennonite Church near Hermitage. Arson investigators say he used a type of Molotov cocktail - a plastic drink bottle filled with gasoline - with a red rag used as a wick.
Cupp will be formally sentenced in December.
