
NEW MARKET, Va. (AP) - Two workers are being treated for injuries after an open-air pavilion under construction collapsed in New Market.
The pavilion is being built on the grounds of Shenandoah Valley Academy.
Dan Jensen with the Potomac conference of Seventh Day Adventists tells The Daily News-Record that the structure collapsed around 9:15 a.m. Thursday when a concrete truck backed up into it.
The injured workers were taken to an area hospital. Their injuries and conditions weren't immediately available. Two other workers weren't injured.
The private school is affiliated with the Seven Day Adventists.
