Before people in our area head to the polls to cast their ballots on November 6, they will have a chance to talk about the race publicly.
The Jefferson School African American Heritage Center will present "A Last Word Conversation" with the Sorensen Institute's executive director, Bob Gibson.
The discussion is scheduled for November 3 and will address various events that transpired during the campaign season.
Andrea Douglas, the director of the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center, said, "Our main goal is to talk about those things that are important to Charlottesville and impact the lives of people who live here. I think that conversation as well will be really interesting for those who live here."
The discussion will be held November 3 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Burley Middle School.
The center is partnering with the League of Women Voters.
